For over 30 years, EOT has pioneered the production of unique Tasmanian essential oils
and native plant extracts now in demand throughout the world.
We work closely with growers throughout Tasmania to ensure quality and traceability. We see the faces and shake
the hands of the people who grow our products so you can be certain you are getting the best.
We drive innovation, exploring new products and means to bring the unique natural wonders of Tasmania to the world.
Come and be a part of our story.
Boronia is a uniquely native Australian plant we have been producing for 30 years. It is a prized cultivar in our portfolio, so much so that we have worked with the University of Tasmania's agriculture and plant sciences faculty for more than a decade to extend its yield and consistency.
It takes 12.5 million boronia flowers to make just one kilogram of our Boronia Absolute. The plant's unassuming brown blossoms reveal a fragrance that is powerful, intense and complex. And as you can imagine, a little goes a long way.
Essential Oils of Tasmania (EOT) has been honoured with the 2019 Tasmanian Exporter of the Year Award. A first-time applicant in these Awards, it first won the Agribusiness, Food and Beverages category and then took out the overall honours from an exceptionally strong field of candidates.
The Tasmanian Export Awards are the state’s highest recognition of excellence for companies exporting goods and services. An increased number of entries were received this year, with 49 entries received across 12 categories.
EOT will now progress as finalists at the Australian Export Awards being held in Canberra on 3 December 2019, providing the opportunity for further national and international recognition.
